在4月8日的德国柏林旅游推介会上，柏林旅游局首次针对中国游客推出2008欢迎卡优惠计划。
该卡的使用时间分为48小时和72小时两种，可在柏林市内和多个城区使用。这种卡对出游的中国家庭更为划算，因为柏林的某些场所、设施允许持卡大人最多携带3名14岁以下的免票儿童。欢迎卡起价为16.5欧元，在柏林当地的电子售票机、部分酒店、柏林高速铁路的销售柜台等均有销售，中国游客也可在网上购买。
另据透露，海南航空公司将于今夏开通北京与柏林间的直航，使用空客330机型，目前计划每周飞4班。
